NEET Programme
A Michael John of Liverpool NEET programme is structured around your own individual learning plan. Generally you will attend a Michael John training centre for one to two days per week - starting off with just Friday working up to 2 days after a few weeks.
Following your first four to six weeks of initial assessment and when we feel you are ready, we will discuss with you a time limit on being able to progress to Entry to employment or apprenticeship. (You will not automatically progress to a full time MJOL course therefore you must prove yourself on the NEET course.)
Your NEET programme will involve
- Taster in hair or beauty session
- Image / personal presentation / first impressions
- Personal effectiveness / employability
- Basic hair grooming
- How to impress an employer
- Work preparation
- Having fun with hair or beauty
Michael John of Liverpool specialise in delivery of Hairdressing/ Barbering/ Beauty Therapy/ Nail Service programmes and NEET learners will generally work towards UNITS of NVQ Level One in these areas.

On successful completion of your NEET training plan you should be able to progress onto any one of the following:-
An Entry to Employment programme
An Apprenticeship programme of your vocational choice
A Further Education course towards Level 2 qualification or equivalent
Full time employment with training provided.
Employment without training.
NEET is a very 'individual' programme offering intense support and can only be accessed following advice and agreement by your own Personal Connexions Advisor.
